The Tranquility Store offers the best that Green Township has to offer. Serving breakfast, lunch and our own baked goods all day long, we specialize in delicious home-style food and friendly service in an old-fashioned general store setting. Our customers can purchase ice cream from Cliff's of Ledgewood, milk in old fashioned glass bottles, local eggs, our own jam, jelly and pickles, grocery items, newspapers, fishing lures and seasonal produce from Tranquillity Farms.
Our store occupies the historic 1844 building which has housed the Tranquility Store under various owners for the past 167 years. Browse through a selection of antiques, as well as items from local artisans, including rustic framed prints, herbal remedies, all-natural spice and cocoa mixes, painted porcelain, and recycled jewelry.
Join us for breakfast, lunch or just a piece of our delicious Crumb Cake! Don't forget - spring and summer evenings are perfect for ice cream cones! We are open 7 days a week, 6:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am-8:00 p.m. Friday, 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday.
Parking, the subject which raises the most questions from our customers, is available in front of the store, parallel to the street. There are also a couple of spots for the public to park just after turning right onto Creek Road. We appreciate everyone's patience with this issue. PLEASE don't use the neighbor's driveway!!
